Martin S. Rosenbloom, Esq.
Martin S. Rosenbloom, Esq., a senior associate member of the Firm, graduated from Buffalo State College in 1971 with a degree in exceptional children education. After teaching mentally challenged students for several years, he served as Consumer Advocate for the NYS Association for Retarded Children, Inc., Erie County Chapter, advising and assisting parents secure the rights and benefits to which their disabled children were entitled. He also assisted the agency in developing the first group homes for mentally retarded children in the Buffalo, New York area.
Mr. Rosenbloom received his law degree from Nova University Law Center in 1981. He was admitted to The Florida Bar and to the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1981. He began his legal career exclusively representing condominium and homeowner associations in South Florida. Later, his practice included the representation of real estate developers and the drafting of condominium, time-share and homeowner association documents. In 1988, Mr. Rosenbloom opened his own law practice in Broward County, focusing primarily on real estate, probate and guardianship matters. Mr. Rosenbloom has represented several not-for-profit corporations in the acquisition, licensing and operation of properties as group homes for persons with developmental disabilities. Mr. Rosenbloom was appointed by Governor Martinez and Governor Chiles as the attorney member of the Human Rights Advocacy Committee for District 10, Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, Developmental Services Program.
Since joining Bakalar & Associates, P.A., Mr. Rosenbloom has been practicing probate law throughout the State of Florida, with an emphasis on resolving real estate title problems involving decedents’ estates in addition to providing legal counsel to Condominium and Homeowner Associations. Mr. Rosenbloom is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and the Elder Law Sections of the Florida Bar and serves as a member of Disability Law Committee of The Florida Bar.
